  1. Executive Desk v4.2 Address Book Conversion Utility

  5. Most Personal Information Managers will allow you to save
  6. your address book entries in .DBF format.  Executive Desk
  7. includes a conversion utility that will allow you to convert
  8. files from this format into Executive Desk's Address Book
  9. (.ABK) format.

  11. There is a file on the distribution disk named DBF2ABK.EXE.
  12. This file will convert from .DBF format database files to 
  13. the .ABK format used by Executive Desk.  To use this, just
  14. copy it from the distribution diskette to your  \WINDOWS\XDWIN
  15. directory. Then run DBF2ABK.EXE from the file manager or by
  16. choosing "Run" from the File Menu and typing DBF2ABK.EXE.
  17. Just choose any .DBF file and it will be converted to .ABK
  18. format and placed in the \XDWIN directory where Executive
  19. Desk can find it.
